If you follow us on Twitter, then you saw that back in October we partnered with Vancouver Is Awesome to give one lucky person $500 towards a home project of their choice. $500 can go a long way, especially when you consider some of our smaller project categories like appliance repair and carpet cleaning. Think how much silverware you could have polished with that amount of money!
The lucky winner (who was chosen at random) was Natalie. She wanted to freshen up her home with a new paint job in her bedroom and living room. Natalie had a dark brown feature wall in her living room that she wanted to have painted a nice grey and her bedroom, which was green, painted a neutral colour. Take a look at the before pictures.
HomeStars connected Natalie with ProRise Painting and Restoration, a Vancouver-based company specializing in painting and drywall restoration. ProRise was quick to respond and up to the task of giving Natalie’s rooms a colour make-over. Kensington Paint & Decorating provided the Aura Benjamin Moore paint to give Natalie the colours of her choice. ProRise was able to get started right away and painted Natalie’s rooms in one day. They even had time for a photo op!
