What is your role at HomeStars?
I am a Software Engineer with a primary focus on the frontend (the part of the application people actually care about lol). A typical day “at work” involves crafting engaging user experiences and writing beautiful code, all whilst performing daddy duties.
If you could trade jobs with someone at HomeStars for a day who would it be and why?
Either Kevin or Bea from the UI/UX team. I would love to try my hand at conceptualizing some truly awesome user interfaces.
When you aren’t at HomeStars, what are you doing?
These days it’s tough because of the pandemic but I make the best of my time at home. My little girl keeps my wife and I entertained. We’ll throw on some music and she dances up a storm. She’s 19 months now and she’s been dancing before she could walk lol. She’s even taken up playing the harmonica and we have our own personal band.
What are 5 hashtags that describe you?
#coyg #quietlyresilient #yardie #wantadog #calm
What is your secret talent?
I’m naturally gifted at making a really tidy sandwich, lol.
As a child what was your dream job?
As a child, I used to dream of becoming a fighter pilot, not a commercial airline pilot but a jet pilot. Something about flying at high speeds spoke to me.
