What is your role at HomeStars?
I am the Manager of Financial Operations. In my role, I oversee various financial functions of the company which include Accounts Receivable, financial analysis and reporting, and payroll to name a few.
What makes you excited to come to work every day?
The people and culture. Everybody at HomeStars is very supportive and engaging and always prepared to help one another. Every day is a different challenge and I love being a part of the process with HomeStars.
If you could trade jobs with someone at HomeStars for a day, who would it be and why?
Lauren Carroll, the Manager of Human Resources. Having the ability to review company policies, always ready to help and be connected to every department and hiring the future of the company is something I would personally love to do if I had an alternate life at HomeStars.
What qualities do you look for in a teammate?
Fun, communicative, has the company’s best interests in mind and is always striving for growth and development (things all of my team members have!).
What is the best piece of advice you have gotten working here?
Be yourself and don’t be afraid to ask any questions. Everybody is here for the same goal and purpose.
As a child, what was your dream job?
As a child, my dream job was to be an NBA player/general manager.
