Farzaan is one of our business development representatives who has been at HomeStars since August 2020. Farzaan is a great pick for the Employee Spotlight because he is extremely passionate and hard-working. He always goes the extra mile for his customers and especially for his teammates. He is consistently one of the top sales reps in the company month after month! Read on to learn more about Farzaan.
What is your role at HomeStars?
My role here at Homestars is Business Development Associate. My mission is to help quality contractors connect with local homeowners by strengthening their online credibility. I am responsible for making sure my contractors are thoroughly walked through the process of becoming a Verified member. I am also responsible for explaining all of the features and benefits to align them with our HomeStars clients looking for quality professionals to hire.
When you aren’t at HomeStars, what are you doing?
Family is my most important thing, I look after my father who is a senior in his 70s and has health issues that need attention at any given time. That is where my time is spent outside of HomeStars. I am an only child and my responsibilities are towards my family and their well-being and good health. Outside of that, you will either find me glued to any basketball game that is on that day and or YouTube surfing to a point of no return.
What is your proudest HomeStars moment so far?
When I hit 19K in a day that was by far the proudest moment for me; I am very humbled that I was rewarded with the great achievement.

What was your first job?
My first job was flipping pizzas at Little C’s. I was the banner shaker a few times on the streets waving the old sign for attention. #Startedfromthebottom
If you were an animal which one would you be and why?
I would be an elephant because they’re strong and great leaders. Elephants usually stay in small groups, but they’re extremely loyal to those around them.
