To improve the clarity of ratings and reviews, we are transitioning to a simple average review rating based on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. This change will come into effect at the end of January 2025.
This change will allow homeowners to easily view a professional’s average review score on their profile, alongside all the individual reviews they have received. This enhanced transparency will empower homeowners to make informed decisions when selecting whom to hire.
The new star rating will be calculated based on each professional’s existing review count, ensuring a seamless transition to this updated system.
For professionals utilizing review widgets from the marketing toolkit on their own websites, these will continue to function as expected, although they may not immediately display our new logo.
