Blair is an Account Manager who’s been at HomeStars since November 2018. When not at work, Blair can be found exploring new restaurants, cooking, doing pilates and travelling. Her next trip is to Panama City and San Blas Islands! Meet Blair by learning more about her below.
What is your role at HomeStars?
I am an Account Manager, so my primary role is to create long term relationships with my book of business. My day to day constantly changes but overall I am responsible for onboards, renewals, expansion, retention and winning old business back.
What makes you excited to come to work every day?
The people and the product!
What has your journey at HomeStars been like so far?
I started off as a Product Specialist where I gained a deep understanding of how to sell and train service professionals on the HomeStars product. I then moved into the Account Manager role, which has enabled me to put my product knowledge to the test and help customers realize their success through advertising on the HomeStars network.
What has been your proudest moment at HomeStars?
Being selected to join one of HomeStars’ Mandate Teams, where I get to represent the Customer Success Team in bi-weekly meetings with senior members across the organization. The goal is to work cross-functionally to deliver on shared mandates across the company — fun stuff!
What is the best piece of advice you have gotten working here?
“The goal of leading by example is to get your team to admire and emulate you. Ask yourself, am I the kind of employee I would like to employ?”
