I’m thrilled to announce that HomeStars is a sponsor for HoHoTO but also that we added something a little extra – from now until the event, we will donate an additional $5 for each approved review to support HoHoTO and the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank in their fight to end hunger in our communities.

How to submit a review

Just click on this link (or the photo inset) and “Register Now” to complete a review on a local contractor, store or service you hired. Once you’re approved, share your review and tag it with #HoHoTO to let others know of your contributions.

If you are interested in doing more, check out their “How can I help?” blog post, as there are a slew of opportunities at many levels. And if you are going to the event, please let us know, we’d love to meet you!

About HoHoTO

The history of HoHoTO is quite amazing, as it really shows the value of social media and a vibrant community. You can read the details on their about page but the first event in 2006 (which was organized in less than 20 days) drew more than 600 attendees! Now an annual event, “the party that Twitter built” has raised more than $80,000 and collected around four tons of food for hungry Torontonians to date.

Another HomeStars Sponsor

I also want to give a shout out to Paul from The Duct Cleaning Specialist, as he is also a sponsor this year (You can check out all of the sponsors on the right side bar of the website). Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll see his mascot, Damper the Duck, at the event!
