Drainworks has a Blog!

It’s not often we see our customers with a blog. So we are excited to see Terry Cord, of Drainworks with one.

Now we aren’t happy with the quote from this post:

I can’t guarantee that every review on sites like this are straight up. I’ve seen a few really unpleasant competitor reviews mysteriously go “poof”, and disappear.

We have addressed this issue with posts like this. There But we respect his opinion. We know that he respects and understands the importance of the customer, and allowing the customer to state his opinion – good or bad. Obviously he wants the best reviews, but what makes HomeStars valuable is that customers are free to write what they want.

We are planning on a new addition to our site to increase transparency and, as Terry of Drainworks says, accountability. So when a review comes down for one of the reasons mentioned in prior posts, you’ll know. We’ll let you know when that happens.

So Terry? Are you gettting a Twitter account next? what about using BrightKite for your drivers?

We really appreciate your interaction with your customer through the blog. I’d offer one further suggestion for your blog, based on the idea of a free and open exchange with your customers. You should open up your blog to comments. You can, of course, turn on this feature in your blogging program, and you do get to moderate the spam. (if you use wordpress, I’d highly recommend Askimet)
